Joop! Le Bain Joop! Fragrance
Le Bain was lovely however it didn’t work for me so I gave it to her. Frankly, whenever you get to enjoy these perfumes on others, like after they walked through the hallway, you dont feel generous, simply smug. Anyway, she is not a fragrance addict, only a woman who’s boyfriend was very vocal and enthusiastic about fragrance she was sporting.
It’s not disagreeable, however it is so unlike another perfume that I actually have tried that I am “on the fence”. Initially it is extremely candy and barely plasticky. My son said it smelled like “Play-Doh” and within the first jiffy I agreed, very much so.
The aldehydes give the scent a brilliant polish, a glowing champagne bubble top. Then the citruses come via. Smells like lemon cleaning soap at first.

There is this old wood creaky antiquey vibe coming from it. I’m getting orange squash and bitterness.
Fresh and floral, soapy and clean, a nice early spring floral toilet water. I advocate this to followers of vintages, aldehydes, florals and vanilla. All of these accords are splendidly married in this perfume. Le Bain is relaxed and leisurely, informal and perfectly fitted to every single day.
Joop merchandise really do carry out and final. I love the scent of this,so I need to apply it on a “totally different” day to really experience it ,I guess. Really pretty, tremendous shocked this has no almonds or honey in it.
